Indeed it was a crazy traveling schedule for Monday the 17th if December 2007. Which i suspect could as near as 800km worth of traveling in one freaking day. And because of that i had drove 10 hours (not straight or else i would have died) around the state of Victoria. I began driving from Frankston to Sorento (might be Sorrento, because i cant really remember how to spell it), which then took a ferry which arrived at Queenscliff. From there i drove a further at least more than 100km from Queenscliff all the way to Apollo Bay. Which is pretty far considering i was driving along the coast at some point of the time and the roads were winding and things. But i did drive at a fast speed considering the time constraint that was put onto the group of travelers i was with. People in the back apparently was getting car sick from my driving and almost wanted to vomit due to the driving. Of course i only heard that after reaching Apollo Bay. But i did drive pretty fast and broke the speed limit for the curves and turns along the coast. But it was a long and strenuous drive along the coast. And i missed alot of nice beautiful sights of the sea as i had to drive fast and that requires full attention to the road while predicting the next move i should make to get to our destination as soon as possible. Wahahahaha. That drive was about from 9.40am till 1.15pm – 1.20pm minus about 30 minutes worth of sight seeing, i guess. Ohh the drive from Frankston to Sorento/Sorrento was about 1 hour.
At Apollo Bay, had lunch and had my loved one take over the driving. She drove all the way from Apollo Bay to the Twelve Apostles before making our way back to Melbourne city. She drive half way back and before reaching Geelong she was already tired. So i took over. By then it would be around 4.40pm i reckon. I then drove all the way from that stopping point through the city and went into the city and not go through the highway which i reckon was faster but had to listen to my loved one (the navigator) as she was very certain regarding the directions until she realized it was a longer route than what i had in mind. But i guess that would be called the detour through the city and then another detour to pump petrol. By then it was already 6 plus i reckon. After a short break at the petrol station a full speed ahead drive (according to the speed limits as we were still in the city limits) to Phillip Island to see the penguins.
It was a long long strenuous drive to Phillip Island and reach our final destination of the trip at about 8.40pm – 8.45pm. Wahahahhahahaha long drive !!!!! Super long considering i drove from 4.40pm till 8.40pmĀ which a short about 5 – 10 minutes stop at the petrol station. Hahahaha. After viewing the penguins i again voluntered to drive back home knowing my loved one would have some difficulties in driving back as she would be scared to go fast and it was already 10 plus. And luckily i drove and was able to follow another driver along the dark dark and i seriously mean pitch black road. But he was certainly going fast! I reckon he/she was driving around 110km/h to 120km/h as i sometimes got too far back from his/her tail. I ended up having to speed up to catch up to the person. Follow that person for a reasonable amount of distance before breaking off from him as we were heading back to Frankston which required me to take another route back. This time i was alone and had to pay full attention towards the driving. Not long after that reaching somewhere near Frankston, i drove to the only 24 hours McD i know in the area for my dinner. Reaching back at near 12 midnight thats somewhere about 11.55pm i ate my Chicken Deluxe Burger with Bacon, but those mother fuckers forgot to put in the bacon! Didnt realize that till my beloved pointed it out to me. Saddening i tell ya! But i was too hungry to realize that you see. Ahhhhh, the bacon…. It would have certainly tasted better with the bacon i tell ya!
Then off to bed and up in the morning. And i am here. Wahahaha blogging away about the crazy traveling from Frankston to the Great Ocean Road before heading back into the city and towards Phillip Island to see the penguins return (with extreme speeds after going out of the city limits) home and finally me driving back to Frankston in the darkness of night (with extreme speeds as well).
Well thats about it from me. Hahaha. Still unemployed, i have to finish some other urgent matters before leaving to Sydney on Wednesday night which is tomorrow night. Wahahahaha. Time to gogogo. Wait wait….
p.s. Sometimes i ponder, am i able to live my life well? Or should i just be a nobody like i had planned. Hahahaha. That is for me to slowly slowly ponder. Unfortunately you wont be getting any pictures here because i didnt take any. Only my beloved and her family has the pictures as well as some videos of the trip. If you know who she is, then give her a visit at her blog. But i doubt it is anytime soon because she is way way way tooooo busy with her family, graduation, and things for Sydney as well as things she wants to send back to Malaysia with her family. Hahahahaha. So just wait for it, she will post it up. I think. Hahahaha. Enjoyz!
So much fun there. And me, stucks in M’sia
WOrking my arse off :p
Fun, well it may be fun but it was a little bit of torture. Mental torture. Trying to keep steady driving the car at good speed in order to make it in time to visit all the places that was already plotted out for me.
Of course you are working. Because you finished earlier, meaning a head start. Now i am going to have to find myself a job. Unlike you i dont think i would be able to get job as many job offers as you.
But in due time things will come into place …. i guess. But things are already in place for you. All you need is just to make full use of it i guess.
